Japanese Americans have a proud history of fighting against injustice and for what is right, including our 10-year struggle for redress and reparations. Our mass incarceration experience and redress victory come with the responsibility to speak out today against the separation of families, modern-day incarceration camps, travel bans, and all forms of hatred and intolerance. We have a role to play in joining with others in the fight for a more just and equitable future.
